Q: My phone doesn’t work, what do I do?
A: Do you have more than one phone?
~ Yes: Check all of them
~ No: Is it plugged in?
If yes: unplug it then re-plug it into Network Interface System on the
outside of your house.
If no: PLUG IT IN!
B: Is it a cordless or other feature phone that requires an AC adapter?
C: Is your AC power on? Does your cordless phone need new batteries?

Q: I’m digging, can you locate, I know you are the only facility on my property?

Yes once you have a dig number processed through JULIE, the Illinois One Call System. It’s smart, It’s free, It’s the law! 800-892-0123.
Q: Is my correct address important?
A:
The Leaf River Telephone is responsible for reporting 911 addresses to Ogle county. When building a new house it is in your best interest to get your address from the zoning board.
